Wandsworth Family Garden
A neglected family garden is reimagined as a modern cottage garden perfect for all the family to relax, entertain and play in.
A simple layout of a lawn, framed by hard-wearing porcelain pathways, leads from a sunny dining terrace via a trampoline to an ingenious play pergola at the end of the garden.
Cottage garden favourites like roses, catmint and foxgloves are punctuated by beautiful obelisks for clambering sweet peas and clematis.
A line of pleached crab apples provides privacy from the neighbouring properties and the garden boundaries are blurred by ‘fence-to-fence’ evergreen climbers.
The Result
Working with Maitanne has been a complete pleasure, from start to finish. We are just so thrilled with our new garden and thankful that we chose Maitanne to guide us through the process. She cleverly wove all the elements of our ‘wishlist’ into a design which feels tranquil, stylish and beautiful, but also really works for both adults and children. We love spending family time enjoying our new space together and can’t thank Maitanne enough for all her ideas, support and incredible commitment to making our dreams a reality.
