🍒Cherry picking 🍒 Here I am harvesting delicious cherries on a hot June day in Perugia, Italy. When designing a garden, I always try to link 3 elements: the house, the setting and the client, so that it sits comfortably within the environment and reflects the client’s personality 🌿 The Mediterranean feel 🌞 of this project takes our clients right back to their sunny childhood and the small water feature in Zellige tiles adds a pretty decorative touch. 🌱Planting Plans🌱 👁️A small section of the planting plan for our large planting design project in Perugia, Italy.👁️ We loved using drought tolerant plants in their preferred situation and using the ancient method of creating ‘basins’ or planting bowls to conserve water and take it directly to the plant roots, as we seldom get the chance to do so here in London!! 🙌 Great inspiration came from Olivier Filippi’s @olivierfilippi beautiful and informative books ‘The Dry Gardening Handbook’ and ‘Planting Design for Dry Gardens’ 🙌 #planting #plantingscheme #plantingdesign #mediterraneanplants #droughttolerant #drygarden #rightplantrightplace #plantingplan #waterwisegardening #gardendesigner
